ROMA Impact Campaign
While at Participant I worked with The National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA) in the U.S., and CACEH in Mexico, the campaign sparked The Roma Effect, and was able to drive significant policy changes, including the expansion of social security rights for domestic workers in Mexico and advancing a national bill of rights in the U.S.. behind Kamala Harris and Pramila Jayapal. The effort also had a powerful cultural impact, amplifying domestic workers' voices, generating extensive media coverage, and using the film's artistic success to create real-world social change.
