The FOSTER Impact campaign aimed to shift the public conversation around the child welfare system, uplifting the voices of those most impacted. In collaboration with HBO, Participant Media, and key state partners—including the California Department of Social Services and the County Welfare Directors Association—the campaign worked to build awareness, drive policy conversations, and inspire change across California and beyond.

What I did

Drawing from my own experiences in the foster system, I directed, edited, and produced a series of digital promos featuring the film’s directors and subjects. These pieces were designed to extend the story’s reach and emotional resonance across social and digital platforms. Additionally, I created the official FOSTER impact campaign reel, showcasing the full breadth of the campaign—from local screenings to statewide initiatives and grassroots community work.
