
Participant Media, LLC was an American independent film and television production company founded in 2004 by Jeffrey Skoll, dedicated to entertainment intended to spur social change. The company financed and co-produced film and television content, as well as digital entertainment through its subsidiary SoulPancake, acquired in 2016.
I worked at Participant from 2012–2023 as Senior Creative Producer & Editor on the marketing team. My role spanned film, television, and digital campaigns, as well as internal and corporate communications. I produced and edited sizzles, trailers, promos, internal reels, and branded content, collaborating across departments to ensure brand consistency and storytelling impact.
Key highlights include:

Serving as a Lead Creative Producer on the Pivot TV Network launch (2013), producing television campaigns, upfront reels, promos, and sizzles, and directing on-camera talent.

Partnering with Wieden+Kennedy on Participant’s company-wide rebrand (2019), shaping creative execution across touchpoints.

Collaborating with filmmakers, executives, and design teams to deliver high-quality marketing assets aligned with Participant’s mission of social impact.
